Indonesia is a positive hot bed of Koi shows, it seems barely a weekend passes where there isn’t at least one or even two shows taking place somewhere in the country.
On the weekend of 13th to 15th September, the ZNA Bandung Chapter took on the task of organising ‘the big one’, the 20th Anniversary All Indonesia Koi Show.
The event proved to be a record breaker with a massive 4,476 Koi entered!
The show also proved to be a massive success for Kiki Sutarki of Samurai Koi Centre and his customers.
The battle for Grand Champion saw 2 Koi supplied by Samurai Koi Centre, a Sakai Fish Farm Kohaku and an Isa Koi Farm Showa, going head to head for the Grand Champion title. With a total of 9 votes each it came down to the head ZNA judge to make the decision to crown the Sakai Fish Farm Kohaku Grand Champion.
Samurai Koi Centre supplied Koi took Grand Champion B and D prizes, Jumbo Gosanke and Non-Gosanke, Superior Champion A, B, C and D, and the list goes on.

Many of the above Koi have previously featured in shows in Japan, or have been sourced through the numerous sales events and auctions which take place in Japan, at which Kiki Sutarki is ever present.
Congratulations to Kiki and customers of Samurai Koi, and also to the ZNA Bandung Chapter for staging the largest entered Koi show in the world.
