AKCA Proejct KHV, is the research project to find useful and effective strategies to handle KHV in our hobbyists’ ponds and, if possible, to the natural mud ponds.

The project is led by Professor Ling Jin, Ph.D. in Virology. She has been doing detail research on the subject since 2009. This is a project to understand where the virus resides inside the fish, the signal of reactivating, the treatment to preventing reactivation, the possibility to create vaccines, and if there is way to remove latent virus from our beloved fish.
